SOME OF MY ANWSWERS ARE PRETTY EMBARASSING. ;;;A;;;

List ten things about your art, then tag ten people to do the same.

1. Drawing has always been what I loved the most my entire life. Since I've always been no good at anything else, I've directed most of my efforts towards things related to drawing and painting.

2. I'm very perfectionist, in a not very healthy way... but I've been doing my best to change that.

3. I dislike it very much whenever I feel that something I've drawn looks too feminine. And yes, I'm aware my style IS pretty feminine. >_>;; I've been working to direct my style to something less girly, more agressive and dynamic-looking.

4. My first drawing inspiration was Monica's Gang, lmfao. When I was little, it was my number one dream to work as an artist for that comic. Then, Sailor Moon and Saint Seiya ended up attracting me to anime/manga. My first "original" character was a mix of Sasami from Pretty Sammy and Sailor Moon. @_@;
edit: one thing I wanted to include - It has always amused me the fact that I've loved drawing from the moment I first touched the pencil on a paper, but until I was 10 or so, I had pretty much no one close to me as an inspiration. Most artists out there, from what I've seen, had either their mother or father or both as artists in some way to inspire them, and while my mother did study a bit of architecture, she's never been active at all with drawing.


5. Artists I was heavily influenced by, in order of when I met their works - Mauricio de Souza, Naoko Takeuchi, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, CLAMP (mostly Mokona 's artwork), Yukiru Sugisaki and Kubotite. Of all of them, though, the only ones whose influence I can still see in my artwork are CLAMP and Kubotite. Which is funny, because I've long ago stopped being a fan of all of those artists except for Sadamoto.

6. I don't have a defined painting style. X( Sometimes I like to work with cel-shading, sometimes I enjoy doing rough paintings with photoshop, sometimes I enjoy doing soft colorings with opencanvas/SAI's watercolor tool, sometimes I just like to try mixing crazy colors, sometimes I prefer to color with black outlines, sometimes I don't. Which annoys me a lot since I don't feel I have a distinctive drawing style. I always feel weird when I look at my own gallery because my works hardly look like they were made by the same person, imo.

7. I hate it when I give in and draw cute-looking stuff like chibis or characters with cat ears. BUT THERE ARE TIMES WHEN I CAN'T RESIST IT. ;D;

8. I love love love colorful works. I love any work whose painting can even remotely remind me of impressionism. However, I myself have difficulty in using bright colors because I can't blend them well.

9. I'm completely unable to make a good planning for any of my works. I'm really really bad with composition.

10. I originally wanted to study animation just so that maybe it could make my drawings look more 'alive'. Now that I've learned a few of the basic stuff, I think I've fallen in love with animation itself too.
